A Few Diets That Work Fast For Women



A lot of women are looking to lose weight, and while everyone would like it if the weight always fell right off, it is especially important that the diet work quickly at certain times. If an upcoming holiday party, reunion, or other event has you wanting to look your best, there are some diets that work fast for women.

Extremely rapid weight loss is not actually fat loss, and fat loss is the most important part in terms of your appearance. Losing too much water weight can make your skin look bad, and sometimes give you a sunken appearance. Losing muscle can make fat more obvious, and your body appear less balanced. For this reason, losing mostly fat is the best choice, even if it is not as much weight overall.

To lose fat, you need to take in fewer calories than you burn, but not many so many fewer that your body is forced to burn mostly muscle. When you diet, the extra calories needed to keep your body running come about equally from fat and muscle, but you want to keep your muscle mass so there needs to be enough calories being put in to rebuild what’s being burned. You’ll also need to do some sort of muscle building activity in order to keep your muscle mass constant, or better yet, increase it while dieting.

Muscle mass is very important to looking good. It burns fat even while you are resting, so the more muscle you have, the more calories you can eat and not gain weight. It also is what provides a lean, sculpted appearance to your body, which is generally the goal of quick weight loss, after all.

To lose weight quickly and efficiently without losing a lot of muscle mass, choose a high-fiber diet rich in whole grains, fruits, and especially vegetables. Give yourself some time to adjust to this diet, as the fiber can be hard on the gut if you aren’t used to it. To really see fast benefits, consider going on a diet that includes only fruits, vegetables, whole grains, skim dairy and fish, with no refined foods.

Make sure to eat in moderation. Weight loss will not occur if you eat too many calories, no matter where they come from. If you eat a lot of veggies, this is unlikely to be a concern, because they are so low in calories. But even non-refined, whole grains can have a lot of calories if you eat a huge portion.

Diets that work fast for women are generally scams. They promise unbelievable weight loss results that aren’t realistic expectations of the body. But losing weight quickly can be done, the results just aren’t going to be as impressive as other people would like you to believe is possible.
