It has been recently observed that more and more people resort to crash diets; the obviously reason is simply that they want to have faster results when compared to any other conventional diets. Many of us would have heard that crash dieting is very dangerous as it restricts calorie intake on a higher scale and hence not suitable for our body on a long term.

Even though crash diets have been considered to be dangerous, one would agree that there is no clear line of demarcation between crash dieting and that of normal dieting. The term crash dieting simply means: dieting on calorie restriction at a comparatively higher scale.

Dieting on higher scale of calorie restriction can be achieved by two means.

1. Dieting on low quantity of food where even the necessary nutrients are depleted.
2. Dieting on foods that are selected on a scientific basis to provide all the essential nutrients but devoid of those which cause fat gain (carbs and fats). The later form of dieting can produce faster results but with guaranteed safety.

Most people consider dieting as a means of punishment for being overweight. They also feel that the pain of starvation is a part of their dieting plan. So they prefer a shorter duration of dieting. Once they realize the fact that the dieting program is not a painful experience as the food intake is not reduced but on the other hand is replaced to provide less carbs then they tend to follow it for their life time.

Imagine would anybody give up a diet menu that is low in calorie while it is tastier and is also available in their area. Especially if a diet schedule offers no pain but is pleasant to follow; such a program will not be given up by anybody even if someone bribes them to do so.

Such diet programs can be implemented month after month until the unwanted fat is ultimately completely utilized and thus it naturally becomes a part of their life style habits even after they would have got the body to be really proud of. At this stage any person will feel that they have almost done nothing to remain fit for the rest of their life.

There are many crash diets on the net that can produce quicker results. But we need to make sure to select one that really motivates us in our endeavor to lose weight fast. Also check the credibility of the person who formulated it, in terms of qualification and experience.
